Based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal, multidisciplinary artist Elysha Poirier and video installation artist Ryan Mason create immersive, interactive ecosystems that bridge the analog and the digital. Working across VR, animation, 3D generative design, and vintage hardware, both artists prioritize play and tactile interaction in their respective practices. Poirier builds visual playgrounds by translating sound, gesture, and language into live generative works for dance, music, and theatre, while Mason embraces the warmth and unpredictability of decaying signals by weaving forgotten CRT monitors and analog video mixers into glitch-driven environments. Together, their complementary approaches challenge the sterile precision of modern media, inviting audiences to disrupt, touch, and become active collaborators in the dialogue between analog nostalgia and digital futurism.
