Lucid Flow

Lucid Flow is an interactive light installation shaped by nature's ever-changing forces. Using real-time sensor data, it responds to wind and temperature, creating fluid, wave-like animations that shift throughout the night. Warmer weather brings vibrant reds and oranges, while colder temperatures cast the space in deep blues and greens. No two moments are ever the same.At the heart of the installation lies an element of control - shining a light at the center-top of the structure triggers a special animation, a fleeting imprint within the ever-evolving display.Drawing from the concept of lucid dreaming, Lucid Flow explores the balance between surrendering to the unknown and shaping one's experience. Some aspects of life, like the wind and weather, are beyond our control, yet within that unpredictability, there is still space to interact, respond, and leave a mark - if only for a moment.

About the Artist:
