Neon Canada: The Art of Electrified Glass presents the work of contemporary artists working in traditional, hand-bent neon. Exploring the ways in which words and images can convey a wide range of non-commercial messages through neon, as well as the innate sensory qualities of neon, the exhibition will create an emotive and striking visual display. With bold colours, a subtle flicker, and a gentle hum, traditional neon is evocative by its nature. Together, Neon Canada conveys the breadth of possibilities for contemporary neon in art and celebrates the unique properties of this increasingly rare form of art.
