Once touched, the cattail turns orange and sends an electronic signal that triggers a wave of light to sweep across the field. This ripple disperses through the surrounding grass bundles, shifting in brightness and rhythm as it travels outward. Just like how this installation needs touch to come alive, real ecosystems supported by plants, rely on human action and care to keep thriving. Switch/Grass therefore is an exploration on ecological reciprocity.
